Music Ministry

You'll find a variety of music here at Mansfield 1st, from contemporary worship to traditional hymns.  We have some gifted musicians who want to worship with you and not merely lead you in songs.

            "Praising God from whom all blessings flow; Praise Him all creatures here below; Praise Him above ye heavenly               hosts; Praise Father, Son, and Holy Ghost!"

 Singing songs is one of the ways we can respond to God. We can sing songs that simply praise God for who He is. We can sing songs that are thankful for His Blessings and Forgiveness.  And we can sing songs that declare our need to be near Jesus. The goal of our music ministry is to provide each of us an opportunity to declare God's worthiness to be worshipped, praised, and adored. (Revelation 5:11-14)

No matter what type of music you like, our worship leaders will always be reminding the congregation that, "Jesus must increase and we must decrease." (John 3:30) It is all about Jesus, and not about us.

Our worship ministry is in transition, so if you play instruments and/or sing and you like to worship with contemporary Christian praise or traditional hymns, we'd love to find a place for your gifts.
